Landco Inc. is a Land Development Company and a Management Company located at
818 Elston Drive in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Landco Inc. was formed by three local business men and one out of state
gentlemen. Local men include John Preidt Jr., Bob Westerbeck and John Martin
with John Pearson from Memphis, Tennessee. Now the partners include John Preidt
Jr., Bob Westerbeck, John K. Preidt and Peggy Wright, all from Shelbyville.
Out of town partners include Bob Craft and David Westerbeck.
Landco first started business in 1979, building and operating mini- warehouses.
They had warehouses in Ohio, Tennessee, Indianapolis, and Columbus, Indiana.
They sold this business and started to build and manage Apartment Complexes.
They have several complexes around southern Indianapolis and Franklin, Indiana.
In the mid 90's they began to build Condominiums or Duplex Patio Homes.
Their first project was Emerson Woods located near Emerson Ave. and Southport Road.
From there they went to Avon, Indiana and built Waterford Lakes. While they were building
Waterford Lakes they built a smaller project called Gray Farms located on Sherman Drive
in the Southport area.
Landco presently employees 4 project managers, 5 construction/maintenance managers,
4 office employees and one general manager. Landco has annual revenue in excess of over $3.3 million.
